Frist Center for the Visual Arts Announces Staff Updates

NASHVILLE, TENN. (June 1, 2005) The Frist Center for the Visual Arts has announced a number of staff promotions. Membership and Annual Fund Manager Brooke Reusch has been named Membership and Individual Giving Manager and R. Jason Owens, who most recently served as Administrative Assistant to the Development Department, has been appointed to the new position of Development Coordinator.
Reusch, who will continue to manage the Center's membership programs including all new member initiatives and membership renewal efforts and the Annual Fund program, will now lead the Center's planned giving program. On staff at the Frist Center since 2002, Reusch came to the Center from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where she served in the Department of Membership and Visitor Services. She earned a Master of Arts in European History from The College of William of Mary and her Bachelor of Arts, in European History and European Studies, from Vanderbilt University.
Owens, who has served the Frist in various capacities since 2001, will now take on additional responsibilities, assisting in Development efforts, including grant-writing, coordinating member travel opportunities, and managing the Frist Center's major donor and Circle Level membership programs. Owens received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Belmont University.
OTHER STAFF UPDATES
Brandon Gnetz, formerly Visitor Services Supervisor, has taken the position of Design Coordinator, taking on the primary responsibility for production of exhibition-related printed materials. Bonnie Jeffiers will take Gnetz' place as Visitor Services Supervisor and Krystle Oschner will move from part-time to full-time Visitor Services Associate, with an emphasis on Membership Services.
The Frist Center for the Visual Arts, located at 919 Broadway in downtown Nashville, Tenn., is an art exhibition center dedicated to presenting the finest visual art from local, regional, U.S. and international sources in a program of changing exhibitions. Gallery admission to the Frist Center is free for visitors 18 and under and to Frist Center members. Frist Center admission for adults is $8.50, $7.50 for seniors and military, and $6.50 for college students with ID. Discounts are offered for groups of 10 or more with advance reservation by calling 615.744.3246. The Frist Center is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Sundays 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. The Frist Center is open extended hours Thursdays until 8:00 p.m. and Fridays until 9:00 p.m. The Frist Center website can be accessed at www.fristcenter.org.
